Mrs. Greening was born June 2, 1938 in Angelina County and died, Monday, Sept. 8, 1997 in a Lufkin hospital.
She had been a sales representative for Lufkin-Conroe Telecommunications since 1993. She was a member of the Gospel Church of Jesus Christ, and had been a resident of Lufkin and Angelina County all her life.
Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Gary Jr. and Kim Greening of Lufkin, Pate Greening of Longview, Texas and Marvin and Ronna Greening of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Billie Jean Jordan of Lufkin; two grandsons, Tyler and Chase Greening; two granddaughters, Jacqueline Hope Greening and Morgan McLin; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mrs. Greening was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Greening, Sr. in 1983; her parents, Henry Jordan in 1964 and Gladys Jordan Goodwin in 1997; and brother, Marvin Jordan in 1991.
