Mr. Buratovich was born June 20, 1928, in Weehawken, N.J., to Giovani and Emma Buratovich. He was the first generation of his family born in America and was predeceased by his parents and his wife of 46 years, Rita.
He is survived by a daughter, Denise Patak and husband, Tyler; a son, Joseph Buratovich Jr. and wife, Karen, of Gaffney; and four grandsons, Justin Patak, Matthew Buratovich, Brant Patak, and Evan Patak and wife, Allie.
