Service Tuesday

Memorial service for Fern K. Anderson, 85, of Taylor Road will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday at North Christian Church, with the Revs. Ryan Hazen, William Pausell and John Bean officiating. There will be no calling. Private burial will be at a later date at Cedar Memorial Cemetery at Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Memorials may be made to North Christian Church.

Mrs. Anderson died at 6:50 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 1994, at Columbus Regional Hospital.

She was a member of the Columbus Senior Citizens and North Christian Church, where she belonged to the Christian Women's Fellowship.

She was born in Springville, Iowa, Feb. 17, 1909, the daughter of Claud and Anna Larson Port. She married O.M. "Andy" Anderson June 16, 1951. He died Nov. 27, 1990.

Survivors include a son, Gerald E. Cooper of Rogers, Ark.; a daughter, Janice Ann Cooper of Dallas, Texas; a stepson, Harold L. Anderson of Fort Worth, Texas; a stepdaughter, Virginia Bleeker of Naples, Fla.; two brothers; two sisters; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were made by Barkes, Inlow and Weaver Funeral Home.
