Kathryn Lucille "Connie" Keller, 90, was born in Oak Island on April 23, 1914 and passed away in San Antonio on May 25, 2004. A longtime resident of Kirby, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Felix Richard Keller. She was the daughter of Hugo and Alma (nee Hartung) Koehler and grew up on the family farm in Poteet. She is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Louise Koehler of Kingsland; sister-in-law, Inez Koehler of Poteet; and 10 nieces and nephews. Kathryn dearly loved her husband and missed him very much. They traveled all over the country in their RV and were avid rock hounds. She had a love of nature and enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds and the company of her cat. The family wishes to thank the caregivers and staff of Home Instead Senior Care for the excellent care and companionship provided over the last three years.
