W. L. Milburn Funeral Held
Former Resident Dies at Bryson, Burial in Mexia
Funeral services for W. L. Milburn, 61, were being held at 3:30 in the City Cemetery in Mexia. Dr. F. W. Stephenson, president of Westminster college, was in charge of the funeral ceremony and interment was in the local cemetery.
Mr. Milburn, formerly a resident of Mexia, died suddenly in Bryson, Texas, at 2:30 Friday afternoon, Sept. 26. The body was brought here for burial Saturday.
A resident of Mexia for more than 25 years, Mr. Milburn moved from here to Bryson, Texas, in 1916, where he had made his home since that time. He was well known here and leaves many friends throughout this section.
Immediate relatives who survive the deceased are: Three sons: Douglas Milburn, Italy; Morris and carl Milburn, Ft. Worth, two sisters and five brothers. (The Mexia Weekly Herald, Mexia, Texas, Oct 3, 1930
