She married Thomas Holley on Dec. 2, 1802. They had the following children: Thomas, Benjamin, Augustus, Rebecca, James, Mary (Parker), William and David.
The Holley descendants lived at Mount Gould, a plantation in Bertie County, North Carolina for four generations. It was probably built in the late 1700s, with later additions. It was originally called Mount Galland after Penelope Galland, step-daughter of Governor Charles Eden. It was later bought by George Gould, Surveyor General of North Carolina before being purchased by Thomas and Celia Holley.
