The body will arrive in Paris early Tuesday morning and will be taken to the Cook & Wright Funeral Home where the funeral will be held at 2 o'clock the same day with the Rev. Earl Ross officiating. Burial will be at Edgar cemetery.
The deceased was born south of Paris, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Voorhees. Her husband, A L Benefiel died 20 years ago. Two children were born to the marriage, one of whom, Bernard, preceded her in death. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Marie Brown of Memphis, Tenn., one brother, Jesse Voorhees, West Crawford street, Paris, and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Henry of Paris and Mrs. R. D. Sheen of Tulare, Cal.
The Benefield family resided for years at Cleveland, Miss., but moved to Memphis about 16 years ago.
