Samuel T. Adams, 83, funeral will be held Sunday with burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery. He died at his home in Norfolk on Friday morning, 13 May, 1938. He was born on Aug 31, 1855, in Vermont.

He was married on Dec 23, 1875, at Elizabethtown, New York, to Rose A. Vaughan. She died on Feb 14, 1921.

He was survived by 6 daughters: Mrs. F. W. (Oriole R.) Freeland, Mrs. G. E. (Villie M.) Surber, Mrs. J. C. (Hattie O.) Kimble, Miss Alta V. Adams, all at Norfolk; Mrs. E. O. Redmond at Tacoma, Washington, Mrs. G. K. (Rilva G.) Chamberlain at Seattle, Washington; only surviving son Worth A. Adams, at Sacramento, California.
