James had a brother Samuel Id 24922048. They arrived from Ireland together. Both were textile mill owners and were together in Glen riddle but James went to Wilmington and started a mill there. He is buried in Mount Salem in Wilmington. His ID is 69111445. The Riddle boys were orphaned as young boys and grew up in the Woods household in Ireland. They emigrated to Pennsylvania and Elizabeth Woods, their cousin, came to visit them. She married John Latimer who worked at the mill.
