Bessie M. Wilson, 92, of Bono, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Mrs. Wilson was born July 2, 1918 in McCrory, Arkansas to the late Byrd M. and Mary Jane Blackston Ashburn. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty Reynolds of Bono and Freda Clark (Charles) of Rosebud, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Debbie Spargo, Gary Reynolds, Leslie Scurlock, Randy Reynolds, and Lori Roberts; twelve great-grandchildren, sixteen great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard Wilson; and a grandson, Johnny Dunavan.
Funeral services for Bessie Wilson will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Reverend Derl Cordell and Jeremy Reynolds will officiate.
Visitation will be Saturday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park.
