Leo S. Dillon, 78, Orrtanna R1, died this morning at 5:00 at his home in Buchanan Valley of complications. He had been in ill health for the last year.
A native of Adams County, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dillon. He was a farmer, fruit picker and for some years an employee of the state highway department on the local maintenance crews.
A member of St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic church, Buchanan Valley, he was a member of the Holy Name Society of that church, of the Gettysburg EAgles and of th Arendtsville Fire Co.
His wife, the former Annie E Strausbaugh, died a number of years ago. Surviving are two sons, Edgar J. Dillon, Orrtanna R.1 and John L. Dillon, at home, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services Thursday morning with meeting at the Bender Funeral HOme, Carlisle St., at 8:30 to go to St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, Buchanan Valley, for the Requiem Mass conducted by Rev. Fr. Louis J. Yeager at 10:00. Interment in the church cemetery.
