PRAIRIE RONDE-Funeral services for Mr. Syble John Dupre, 84, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church here with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Dan Picard will conduct the services.
Mr. Dupre died at 10:56 p. m. December 19 at Doctors' Hospital. He was a dairy farmer and cattleman and produce farmer. He also worked for the St. Landry Police Jury and was a member of the Louisiana Cattleman's Association,
an Honary member of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Departnebt and Farm Bureau.
Survivors include: his wife, Winnie Pitre Dupre of Prairie Ronde; one daughter, Jackie Montgomery and her husband J. L. Washington, two sons, Bobby L. Dupre and his wife Arlene Dupre of Prairie Ronde, and James Dupre of
Lafayette; one sister, Dot Dupre of Opelousas; one brother, A. C. Dupre of Opelousas; and three grandchildren, Kent Montgomery, Jason Dupre and Todd Dupre; and three great grandchildren, Mary Ann Dupre, Samantha Dupre and Madison Dupre.
Mr. Dupre was precede in death by his parents, Arcade and Celestine Dupre.
