Mrs. Beach was formerly Miss Dora E. Lewis, of Lincoln. She was married to William Beach, a pioneer settler of Lincoln, and an old soldier, who died nine years ago and is buried at Wyuka in the G.A.R. lot.
She was the mother of three daughters, Mildred, Florence and Bernice, now Mrs. Edward J. Ritchie, Fresno, California, Mrs. Joe E. Dvorak, Kansas City, Mo. She was a lifelong member of the Christian church. She lived in Lincoln until about six months ago when she went to Kansas City to live with her daughter.
