Ronald "Ron" Converse Spitsbergen
1932-2011

Ronald Spitsbergen age 79 of Pensacola, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 26, 2011. He was a native of Moddersville, MI but had been a resident of Pensacola for the past 50 years. Mr. Spitsbergen was retired from Pensacola Christian College as a diesel mechanic and bus driver with 40 years of service. He was a member of the T.O.P.S. Organization.

Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Spitsbergen and his sister, Joan.
Survivors include four sons & daughters-in-law, Curtis & Karen Spitsbergen, Matthew & Suzanne Spitsbergen, Nathan & Sarah Spitsbergen, and Paul & Emily Spitsbergen; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Bill and Phillip; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2011 at St. John's Chapel at Pensacola Christian College with Rev. Russell Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Bayview Memorial Park.

FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 100 Beverly Pkwy is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at Faith Chapel from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 28.

The family would like to thank Covenant Hospice for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to further continuing Ron's Tract Ministry. MED Tracts, 282 St. Sabas St. Pensacola, FL 32503.
