“Absalom, son of Hiram and Harriet Borror, was born June 15, 1853, and died November 9, 1908, aged 55 years, four months and 24 days. He was converted at Commercial Point under the ministry of Rev. J. F. Kemper and joined the church at Concord Chapel. He was married to Sahah Ryerson, March 22, 1888, and to this union were born eight children; five boys and three girls. Two sons, Guy and Frederick, died several years ago. Edna, Paul, Ralph, Nellie, Clyde and Eva, with their mother, two brothers and six sisters and a host of friends are left to mourn. About May 15, 1888 Mr. Borror transferred his membership to King’s Church by letter and has lived a faithful Christian ever since. He was an indulgent father and husband and a very kind neighbor.”
