He was born April 3, 1929 to the late Frank Hawkins and the late Lillie (Hughes) Hawkins.
He was preceded in death by five brothers James, Herbert, Rollin, Roy, and Jr. Hawkins; and one sister Mary Kimbler.
He is survived by his wife Mary Russell Hawkins, Jamestown; three daughters Connie (Ronnie) Huddleston, Cundiff, KY, Lisa (Stevie) York, and Tracy (Wendell) Appleby, both of Jamestown; and one son Bobby (special friend Carrie McFee) Hawkins, Sano, KY; and nine grandchildren.
Interment was in Lawless Cemetery in Jamestown.
