ADAMS - Veva B. Adams, Route 1 Cottage Grove passed away in the Cottage Grove hospital, Thursday July 27, at the age of 70. She was born October 25, at Toluca, California, and was married in Los Angeles March 17, 1919 to Chester M. Adams, who survives her. She came to Cottage Grove in 1943. Besides her husband she is survived by three sons and two daughters: Edward in Sacramento, William and Ben both of Cottage Grove, Viola Pile of Stockton, Helen Richter, Springfield; 22 grandchildren, 11 great-grand children; four brothers Al, Wilbur, Herb and Ollie Searcy, all in California. Funeral services will be held in MILLS MORTUARY in Cottage Grove on Monday, July 31 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Fir Grove Cemetery.
