NOTE -
John Royal, b 1760 VA, COULD have been a father to William b 1814 TN and Jesse b 1812 TN.
If so, John did not name them in his will.In the AR 1835 will of John Royal, he noted only his grandson, James Bybee: son of Nancy (Royal) Bybee and Sherrod Bybee. John also noted Abraham Stacy, husband of John's daughter Elizabeth (Royal) Stacy. There was a William Royal that was witness to John Royal's will,POSSIBLY the 1814 William.Jesse 1812 and William 1814 could also POSSIBLY have been nephews to John Royal 1760.In 1820 Jackson Co TN census, 3 Royal households,John sr, John jr, William. In 1820, Maury Co Tn, notes Joseph and John Royal, seperate households.
John Royal 1760, would die 1835 in White Co Arkansas. William Royal 1814 and Jesse Royal 1812, would move to Texas.

The 1760 dob for John Royal, is figured from his 1834 White County AR pension application. He notes being born in King William County ,Virginia and living as a young boy in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, and Henry County Virginia. Later living in Lincoln/Garrard Co Kentucky. Then in Jackson County TN several years before moving to Arkansas. Very possibly the dob is off by a few years.
