Born Sept. 17, 1882, in Gravesville, he was the son of Bert and Melvina Lints Clemons. On Oct. 19, 1910, in Gravesville, he married Jennie Smith with the Rev. Wallace M. Brashears officiating.
Mr. Clemons owned and operated a farm on Powell Road until his retirement. He attended the South Trenton Union Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John (Vivan) Perry, Dannenmora; two sons, Arthur Clemons Jr., Barneveld and Frank Clemons, Holland Patent: three brothers, Oliver Clemons and Grover Clemons, both of Demster, NY and Lynn Clemons and a sister, Mrs. Etta Clemons.
