A graveside Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, April 21 at 10:00 A.M. at Frazier Valley Cemetery in Strathmore for Wanda Ertl, 73 of Strathmore.
Wanda entered this life in Riverside, California on December 29, 1937 and entered rest on April 16, 2011 in Porterville. She was a loving mother, grandmother and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
She moved to Strathmore area when she was 4 years old, attended local schools and graduated highschool in 1956.
Wanda was of Christian faith and a member of the First Baptist Church in Strathmore. She also worked as a teacher's aide at Strathmore Elementery from 1974-1994 where she enjoyed helping first graders learn how to read.
Wanda loved her family and being with them from bike riding to trips to the beach as well as taking pictures of her children & grandchildren.
Wanda is preceded in death by her husband John Ertl, brother Alton Lambeth (Find A Grave Memorial# 68958871) and sister Juanita Matlock.
She is survived by her three children, David Ertl of Springville, Donna Alexander of Strathmore and Cinda Phillips of Porterville. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren Brandon Phillips, Preston Phillips, Lessley Phillips, Katrina Alexander, Kaylee Alexander, Savannah Ertl, Johnathan Ertl, Zachary Ertl and Caroline Ertl.
