Jane or "Jincy" Williams married Jedediah Garrison, who became a local pastor. They helped found a Methodist society in Mt. Pleasant, near Homer, Georgia a few years before the denomination officially organized.

They had a number of offspring and relatives who were not only Methodist but who became Methodist preachers, including their sons, Rev. Levi Garrison (a circuit rider in South Carolina) and Rev. David Garrison who served in Georgia.

She is buried next to her husband at the unique Mount Pleasant graveyard. From the size of the graves, it appears that she was much shorter in stature.
