Floresville, Tex, Oct 23 - Mrs. Calfernia Brown, aged 76 years, wife of Daniel Brown of this place and mother of Representative J. H. Brown, died at her home here Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, following an illness of about twelve days. Burial was made in the Floresville cemetery Monday afternoon, services prior to the burial being conducted at the Floresville Baptist church by Rev. A. F. Beddoe, the pastor, and Rev. I. J. White of Nixon, formerly pastor here. Besides a husband, two sons, W. H. Brown of Mt. Vernon, Mo., and J. E. Brown of this city, survive. (Lawrence Chieftain, Mt. Vernon, Missouri, Nov 1, 1917
