"Former Kent Man Buried Here Thursday
Funeral services for Charles Clarkson, former Kent business man and resident, were held Thursday afternoon in Seattle from the Columbia Undertaking company chapel under the auspices of Fort-Thygesen Camp No. 2, United States Spanish War Veterans, Interment was in the Kent cemetery.
Mr. Clarkson at one time operated a second-hand store in Kent, and worked at the garage where now Midway Motors is located before leaving here to make his home in Seattle. He was 74 years of age at the time of his death, and lived at 4627 Chicago street, Seattle.
He is survived by his nieces, Miss Dorothy Crisp, Seattle, and Mrs. Florence Mann, Fort Francis, Ontario."
