CONCORDIA — Francis "Frank" B. Hebert, 82, Concordia, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 1997, at Mount Joseph Rest Home, Concordia, Kan.
Mr. Hebert was born Feb. 17, 1915, at Aurora to John BA and Lucy (Fraser) Hebert. On October 18, 1938, he married Josephine H. Ahrendes at St. Peter's Catholic Church in aurora.
Frank was a retired farmer and carpenter. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia, and Aurora Council of Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife, Josephine; one daughter, June Young and husband Terrance of Hugo, Minn.; a half brother, Edward Hebert of Port Angeles, Wash.; and a grandchild.
He was preceded by his parents, six brothers and one sister.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday, October 13, 1997 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, the Revs. LeRoy Metro and John George Weber officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Aurora.
There will be a vigil service at 7 p.m. Sunday followed by a Knights of Columbus rosary at 7:30 p.m. at Nutter Mortuary Chapel, Concordia. Memorials may be made to Hospice.
