Oshkosh Daily News 20 SEP 1939, page 4-Former Oshkosh Man is Buried at Chicago. Funeral services for Walter Rohrlack, formerly of Oshkosh, which were held at Chicago, Tuesday, were attended by Miss Hattie Achtmann and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Mielke of this city. Other relatives were present also from Detroit, New York, and from Minnesota. Mr. Rohrlack was born in Oshkosh in March 1887. He left Oshkosh about 30 years ago and had lived in Chicago since that time. He was an insurance auditor and during the last three or four years had been working on the east coast, but had continued his residence at Chicago. His death occured at Chicago Sunday morning at 5 o'clock and followed a year and a half of failing health. He was a member of the Masonic fraternity in Chicago. Before moving from this city he was married here to Miss Pauline Achtmann of Oshkosh. She survives him along with a son, John and a daughter, Doris of Chicago; and his mother Mrs. Ida Rohrlack, who lives in Chicago also.
