Anthony S. Purdue, 44, of Indiana Court, died at 10:38 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 2010 at Columbus Regional Hospital emergency room.
Anthony was a 1984 graduate of Columbus East High School and obtained a degree in heating and cooling from ITT Technical Institute.
Anthony was a cook at various restaurants in Columbus and his hobbies include cooking, Harley-Davidson Motorcycles and rock and roll music.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street.
Calling will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Christiansburg Cemetery in Brown County.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.

Born in Columbus June 21, 1966, Anthony was the son of John and Annie B. Alvey Purdue.
Survivors include his daughters, Brandy Purdue and Aimee (Juan) Diaz both of Indianapolis; grandsons, Alejandro Ortiz and Alonzo and Edgar Diaz; brothers, Chris Purdue of Terre Haute, Jeff Purdue of Seymour and Michael Purdue of Columbus; a sister, Cindy Purdue of Columbus and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
Anthony was preceded in death by his parents.
