Edward grew up in Detroit. He was drafted into the Army to fight during WWII. After returning home he married his wife, Helen November 28, 1946. In 1959 they moved their family to Warren.
Edward retired from Ryder-Holloway as a supervisor. He was also a member of the Fr. Murray Knights of Columbus. Fishing, bowling, Tiger baseball and playing euchre were some of his favorite pastimes, but the most important and enjoyable was spending time with his 9 grandchildren.
Edward is survived by his wife of 59 years, Helen; children, Nancy Jacewicz, Paul, Dennis (Jeanette) and Ken (Connie); grandchildren, Bryan (Becky), Ryan (Liz), Rachel, Adam, Lauren, Kyle, Paige, Brett and Ryan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Clara; and son-in-law, Derrick Jacewicz.
Visitation for Edward will take place Sunday, June 11 from 2-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover at Common (12 1/2 Mile). There will be a scripture service Sunday at 8:00 pm. Edward will be in state Monday, 10:00 am until time of Mass, 10:30 am at St. Sylvester Catholic Church. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
