Summitville - Mrs. Delight Howard, 70, wife of Paul Howard, Summitville druggist, died early Tuesday at the Community Hospital in Anderson. She had been ill a month.
Funeral services are being arranged for 2 pm Friday at the Ewing Funeral Home to be conducted by the Rev. Fred Vinson. Interment will be in the Vinson Memorial Cemetery at Summitville.
Friends will be received at the funeral home after 10 am today.
Mrs. Howard was a native of Anderson, born Oct. 5, 1896 to William and Jennie Bryson, and was married on August 29, 1918 to Mr. Howard. She had resided in Summitville the greater part of her life.
Mrs. Howard was a member of the Summitville Methodist Church, OES Chapter 517 and the Past Matrons Club, Psi Iota Xi Sorority, and the Modern Priscilla Club.
Survivors include the husband, Paul; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Jane Brewer of Summitville, and Mrs. Marjorie Lindamood of West Baden Springs; a sister, Mrs. Madalene Himelick of Summitville; and three granddaughters.
