A Double Wedding
The following notice of a double wedding, which occurred some miles southeast of Lampasas, is from The Burnet Bulletin:
Last Sunday morning at the home of the brides' parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Hicks, Mr. Russel Wells and Miss Belle Hicks, and Mr. Ross Wells and Miss Maggie Hicks were united in the holy bonds of wedlock, Rev. L. S. Chamberlain officiating.
Messrs. Wells are highly respected by their associates. Misses Belle and Maggie are well known in the Bethel community. They will leave on Monday for their future home, near Adamsville. We wish for them a long and happy life together.
