SIMON W. UBER, died at his late home in
Springfield, Ohio, Saturday July 2, at
noon. A son of David and Ellen Coy Uber,
he was born October 21, 1886, and is
survived by his wife and the following
children Dorothy, wife of Addison
Blankenship, LaRue, wife of James Grody,
and Ray and William, all of Springfield, Oh.
Wayne of Turtle Creek, Pittsburgh and Iona,
wife of Richard Hansen, Tuscon, Ariz. Nine
grandchildren also survive.
Services will be at 10:30 Wednesday
morning July 6, and also interment,
in Springfield, Ohio.
Mr. Uber was a brother of (in-laws) Bertha
Jobe) Burkett of Apollo, Ralph C. Jobe,
Ernest, and Lawrence Jobe, Pittsburgh, and
(sister) Mrs. George (Kate) Adamson of Beyer.
Simon Wade was the youngest of 17 children
of David and Mary Coy Uber, all siblings
but Kate Adamson predeceased him.
He married Ida Belle Jobe on 11 Sep 1907
