Funeral services were Friday at 10 a.m. in Loraine First Baptist Church with Rev. David Stevens, pastor of Loraine First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Loraine Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Born September 18,1915 in Anson, he married Bertha Faye Wilkerson in September, 1934 in Loraine. He was a retired hospital maintenance man and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Loraine for 50 years.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha Faye; a daughter, Jan Brown of Lafayette, Louisiana; one son, Ross Snyder of Gunter; one sister, Ludie Turk of Sweetwater; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Herman Hoover, Wright Hock, Raymond Webb, Jack Richey, Woodrow Pratt and Gene Britton.
