When her health began to fail, Ida became a resident of the Auburn nursing home on Sept. 3, 1989.
She is survived by her brother, Quinton Gerdes of Lakewood, CO. a sister, Laura Bruggemann of Auburn.
Funeral services were held May 31, at Faith Lutheran Church.
Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, near Talmage, NE.
