On Tuesday morning, November 12th, Christopher C. Smeltzer died at his home in North Vandergrift about 3:30 o'clock. His death is thought to have resulted from a fall of a few weeks previous, but he had also been ailing in a general way for some time past. Mr. Smeltzer was 66 years 3 months and 26 days old at the time of his death. He has always been a resident of Armstrong county. R. C. Smeltzer, of Vandergrift and Sloan Smeltzer, a farmer in Clearfield county are sons. Funeral service was held at his residence in North Vandergrift Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. W. S. Dysinger. Interment in the Stitt cemetery.
