Former Montanan's Funeral Is Held
Thermopolis, Wyo., Dec. 4--Funeral rites were held in the Mortimore chapel for Mrs. Sylvia Viola Blakesley, 79, who died in Lomita, Cal. The Rev. James L. Barber conducted the service and burial was in Riverside cemetery.

Mrs. Blakesley was born Jan 15, 1883, in Posey county, Ind., and came to Lander in 1890, and to the Big Horn basin in 1902. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star at Cut Bank, Mont., the Royal Neighbor lodge and the Episcopal church.

Survivors include five sons, Floyd Blakesley of Manderson; Emery J. Blakesley of Grass Creek; Lou Blakesley of Oilmont, Mont.; Jack T. Blakesley of Thermopolis; Conrad D. Blakesley of Shelby, Mont., four daughters, Dorothele Williams. Cut Bank, Mont.; Beatrice Ray of Roswell, N.M.; Grace Myse of Lomita, Cal.; Eselyn Franck of Los Angeles, and 36 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
