Edward was the son of William and Elizbeth "Eliza" Skinner. The marriage between him and Lillian was kept a secret because Lillian was only 16 at the time. They were together until she passed away in 1945 from complications of diabetes. They had 5 children together. When my G grandfather passed away in Los Angeles his body was taken back to Des Plaines, Illinois to be buried with his beloved wife Lillian.
