John E Guise, 63, well known resident of Butler township, died at his home near Bender’s church, Saturday evening at 6:15, from a complication of diseases.
Mr. Guise is survived by his widow and the following sons and daughters; Mrs. Roy Bricker, Aspers R. D.; Irvin Guise, Biglerville R.D.; Wilmer Guise, Gettysburg R.D.; Howard Guise, Gettysburg; Mrs. Wilmer Lady, Aspers R.D., and Clair, Roy and Raymond Guise, at home. Seven grandchildren and three sisters, Misses Mary and Elizabeth Guise, Aspers R.D., and Mrs. Israel Lentz, Gettysburg R.D., also survive.
Funeral services Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 from the Guise home, with further services at 2:00 in Benner’s Lutheran church, the Rev. Henry Sternat officiating. Interment at Flohr’s church cemetery.
