Mrs. McCormick was born April 3, 1940 in Scioto County, a daughter of Edward and Mary Meenach Murphy.
Surviving are her mother, who lives on Hasting Hill; two sons, Michael Leroy and Jackson Lee, both at home; two daughters, Rebecca Lynn and Vicki Jane, both at home; three brothers, James Murphy, stationed with the Air Force in Japan, Timothy of Canton, and Paul of Hastings Hill; three sisters, Mrs. Sally Allen of Gallia St, New Boston, Mrs. Elanora Mullins of Lucasville and Mrs. Loretta Chamberlin of Wheelersburg.
She was preceded in death by her father, a brother and two sisters.
Funeral services are to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Swauger Valley Baptist Church, with Rev. Andrew Workman officiating. Burial is to be in Wheelersburg Cemetery under the diection of Gill Funeral Home.
