Bo received his elementary education at country schools until the Boshear family relocated to Wills Point. He graduated from hish school in Wills Point in 1947 at the age of fifteen and attended Texas Christian University and Southern Methodist University prior to enlisting in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was honorably discharged in 1954 as a B-36 aircraft radar technician.

Shortly after leaving the USAF, he was empoyed by Temco Aircraft Corporation at Grand Prairie. He was assigned as a Temco field representative on various programs for the US Army, Navy, and Air Force moving to Ft. Huachuca, Arizona, Pautuxant River NAS, Maryland and Eglin AFB, Florida. In 1958, he transferred to the Greenville Division of Temco Aircraft and was assigned as company representative in Germany on a classified reconnaissance program. He returned to Greenville in 1961 and was placed in charge of the Division's field personnel, he was soon promoted to Project Engineer and later Program Manager on various USAF programs. In 1969, he transferred to the Marketing Department of the Greenville Division and advanced through various positions retiring in 1986 as a Marketing Director.

He is survived by his wife Beverly, daughter and son-in-law Kim and Dean Converse, grandchildren Cody Converse and wife Kayla and Courtney Converse, and stepchildren Jeff Starling and wife Beth and daughter Cory, stepson John Davis and wife Cindy and children Alex, Gregory, and Caitlyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Dewitt and Jeff Boshear.

Bo, as a young man, had one burning desire in his career plans and that was to become involved in the field of aircraft and electronics. With the help of a number of mentors, he was able to achieve this dream. He always attributed his achievements to the support of his family, his employees and to his employers.

In his retirement, he enjoyed watching his grandchildren mature, and he developed a love for genealogy. He created a book for his grandchildren covering their heritage that encompassed eight different families dating back to the 16th century.

When me meets Saint Peter at the Heavenly gates, we can only imagine that Bo will say, "My thanks to God for making my trip through life on Earth so wonderful."

Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday in the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel in Greenville with Rev. Veronica Greanead officiating. Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
