Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather Passed away with his family present on Sunday, April 17, 2011. Scoty was born June 2, 1917, grew up and attended school in Grand Forks, North Dakota and was very proud of UND. Scoty became a Marine and served his country in WWII. Following his years of service, he married Mary Jane Kelly of St Paul, and helped raise seven children: Tim (Kathleen), Jay (Kathy), Steve (Mary), Will, Molly (Peter) Liberko, Rick (Cathi), and David (Anne). James is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Mary Jane, brothers, Tom, Jack, Jerome Daly and his sister Betty, grandchildren, Mary Budge, Dennis Liberko, and Derrick Roy. "Jim will now have to conduct his 4th of July neighborhood parade from Heaven." Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Wednesday at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, Stanford at Prior. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave. 4-7 PM Tuesday and at church 1/2 hour Prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund: www.fallenheroesfund.org 651-228-1006
