Graveside service for Mrs. Linnie Alma Jones, 92, of Chickasha was held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Fort Cobb. Mrs. Jones was born October 9, 1888 at Rea,Arkansas and died Saturday, December 13, 1980 in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Jones had lived in the Fort Cobb area and in California. She had been a resident of Chickasha for the past 10 years, moving here from San Diego. One son, Jesse O. Jones preceded her in death November 11, 1970 and a daughter, Agnes Ruth
Strange preceded her six month ago. She is survived by two daughters, Jettie L. Gaddis of Chickasha and Esther Robnett of Wilson, Oklahoma; one sister, Bertha Farmer of Scotland, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren
and four great great grandchildren. Interment was in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Fort Cobb under direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
