Meda F. BRYANT, 81, formerly of 425 W. Fourth St., died at 4:10 p.m. Saturday in Woodlawn Hospital. In ill health sinceSanuary, she had resided at Canterbury Manor Nursing Home since May 1.
She was born Oct. 5, 1900 in Sherwood, Ohio to Charles and Dora DURFFY BERNARD and had lived in Rochester since 1919. She was married July 29, 1919 in Rochester to John BRYANT, who died in January 1953. She attended the Bethlehem Baptist Church and was a member of the Better Homes Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Eileen) KALEY, South Bend; a son, Kenneth BRYANT, Rochester; seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Clarence (Bertha) PHIEL, North Royalton, Ohio. Two sisters, a brother and a great-grandson preceded in death.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Foster & Good Funeral Home with the Rev. Junior BOSE officiating. Burial will be in the Athens Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today, and on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of service.
