Of Crete passed away April 19 after a brief illness. She was born March 5th 1924, Lillian Kooiman, daughter of Peter and Lena. She is survived by her daughters Roxanne Cole (Don), Cynthia Mooney (Larry) and son James Engelhardt (Mary), grandchildren David, Jill, Christopher, Eric, Cameron and Nathan, great-grandchildren Trevor, Wyatt, Samuel, Madeline, and Hannah, sisters Margaret, Joyce, Rita, Clara, Barb and Elizabeth. She was preceded in death by her husband James, brothers Peter, Louie, Raymond, Jake and sisters, Tina, Wilma. Lillian was a long time parishioner of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Steger. A memorial service will be held on Thursday April 28th at Skyline Memorial Park 25100 Governors Hwy, Monee, IL
