"MRS. LUCY DEATLEY IS DEAD.
Aged Resident of Wapella Passed Away Tuesday Morning. Wapella, Ill., June 15.----(Special.) Mrs. Lucy Deatley died at her home in the north part of the village this morning at 10:30, after an Illness of several months. She suffered a stroke of paralysis nine months ago. She was born in Aberdeen, Ohio, in June, 1834. She was married in Kentucky to William Deatley on June 2O, 1861. To this union were born nine children. Two sons and one daughter, with the husband, preceded the mother to the grave during their residence in Kentucky. She leaves three sons, James E., Benjamin F. and Severn P.; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Borders, Mrs Charles Ruggless, and Miss Kate, at home. She with her family came to Illinois in 1896 and settled in Wapella. Mrs. Deatley united with the M. E. church in Kentucky, and after coming to Illinois united with the Christian church eleven years ago.

The funeral services will be held from the home Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. Rev. C. J. Robertson officiating. Interment will be in Heyworth cemetery."
