--Rites will be held at two o'clock today for Angus M. Baker, 87, former carpenter and contractor here. The Reverend E. M. Cornelius will officiate at the services at the Allen funeral home.
--The body was returned to this city Wednesday from Jackson, Miss., where Baker died. He expired of pneumonia at the Veterans Administration Center in that city.
--Born May 6, 1870, in Rochester he was the son of William and Emmaline Hieghway Baker. His marriage was to Rose Merley who preceded him in death.
--He was a Spanish American war veteran, a member of the Peru United Brethren church and the Moose lodge.
--Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Anna Nellans, of Mentone, and a cousin, Mrs. Zora Leffel, of Peru.
