OBITUARY 1.24.1965:
Mrs. Nora Bishop, 58, Glasgow, died in a Huntington WV hospital after being struck by a car as she crossed US 60 near Huntington city limits Friday night. She was the mother of Robert Bishop, Glasgow real estate man who is candidate for Barren County sheriff in the Democratic Primary, and Marshall Bishop, state parole director for the Glasgow area. Nora was the daughter of the late L.N and Nora Brown Jackman, and was a member of the Mt Tabor Baptist Church. In addition to her two sons and five grandchildren, she is survived by a sister, Mrs Buford (Mallie Jackman) Smith, and two brothers, Tom and Judge Jackman, all of Louisville. Saddler FH; burial in the Memorial Gardens.
