On Oct. 27, 1870, she was married to John W Blunt, with whom she lived happily for almost 60 years, until his death separated them April 17 1930.
To this union were born two sons, Robert, of Scottsburg, and James H., of La Grande Oregon. She also is survived by one brother, Robert Follick, of Indianapolis, and by nine grandchildren and five great-grand children.
Early in life she united with the Christian Church at Zoah, later transferring her membership to the Austin Christian Church, of which she was a faithful member at the time of her death.
Her friendly smile and kindly deeds will be missed by both old and young in the community in which she lived so long, and where she was universally known and loved.
Funeral services were held at the Austin Christian Church by Elders Ira Williams, of Scottsburg, and F R Davies, of Charlestown, and burial at the Scottsburg cemetery."

Mrs. Margaret Blunt, 79 years old, one of Jennings township's best known and most highly respected residents, died Monday at her home here following an illness with the flu and a slight stroke of paralysis, She also suffered slight injuries a week ago when she became dizzy and fell while walking along the roadway. She will be missed by a long circle of friends. She was the widow of John W Blunt, former trustee, and is survived by two sons, Robert W. Blunt, of Scottsburg, and James H Blunt, who lives in the state of Washington. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Christian Church here and internment was in Scottsburg cemetery."
