Howard Link Burdick, age 102, of Yuba City CA, passed away on March 25, 2011 at Rideout Memorial Hospital in Marysville, CA.
Born in New York State, he was a long time resident of Gridley, working many years as the head Custodian of Gridley Union High School. He has lived in Yuba City for the past 12 years of his life. He was active as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints. He was a member of the Yuba City Ward.
Howard's wife, Lareta Amanda Burdick, and son Russell H. Burdick have preceded him in death. Survivors include three daughters; Nellie Taylor and Sharon Myers of Yuba City and Irene McVoy of Cody, WY; and son, David Burdick of Clovis, CA. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and 18 or more great-great- grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at the Gridley-Biggs Cemetery in Gridley, CA on Friday, April 1, at 1pm. Visitation hours will be held at the Ullrey Memorial Chapel in Yuba city, CA on Thursday, from 4-7pm. Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel of Yuba City, CA
