BARNESVILLE, Minn. - Joseph M. Nosal, 77, died Friday in Moorhead. The funeral will be at 9 Monday in Assumption Catholic Church here. Mr. Nosal was born Oct. 19, 1894, at Duncan, Neb. He grew up there and moved to South Dakota in 1909. In 1911, the family moved here. He married Mary Setlak in Barnesville June 26, 1923. The couple farmed until 1964 when they retired into Barnesville.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by eight daughters: Mrs. Leonard (Cecilia) Holland, Mrs. Dallas (Ann) Lammers, Mrs. Richard (Josephine) Lamb, Mrs. Robert (Lucy) Randklev and Mrs. Carmen (Lemons) Peterson, all Barnsville; Mrs. Allen (Mary) Mathesott, 2902 19th St., and Mrs. Loren (Tina) Garrison, 1414 9th St. N., both Moorhead; Mrs. Milton (Clara) Holland, Davenport, N.D.
Seven sisters, Mrs. Ray (Monica) Brocke, Mrs. Melbert (Victoria) Lenander, Mrs. Howard (Rose) Nelson, and Mrs. Harold (Matilda) Nelson, Mrs. Thomas (Helen) Devine, all Minneapolis; Mrs. Jim (Clementine) Staroscik, Columbus, Neb.; Mrs. Walter (Mary) MacFadden Coulton, Calif.; 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
