Paul attended Crooked Oak School . He was a veteran of World War II serving with the United States Army. Paul was a recipient of the Purple Heart. Paul was married to Cecelia M. Hogner on February 14, 1991 in Eureka Springs. He had worked for Fred Jones Ford, Oklahoma City as Assistant Manager of Sales for 12 years, retiring in 1988. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church , VFW Post 9969, DAV Chapter 43 and the American Legion. Paul had lived in Pryor for about the last 11 years he moved here from the Lake Hudson area where he lived for seven years. Paul enjoyed doing yard work, boating, fishing and was an avid OU football fan.
He is survived by wife Cecelia of the home, son Ron Greene and wife Marilyn of Moore, Oklahoma, daughters Carol Smith of Rogers, Arkansas, Brenda Yarger and husband K.D. of Moore, Sheri Wiggy and husband Kirk of Westminster, Colorado, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, sisters LaDonna Jane Hayes of Rogers, Arkansas, Roberta Ann Burley of Sherman, Texas, step-daughter Kathy Oneal and husband Randy Alberty of Tahlequah, step-daughter Shana Scantlin and husband Justin of Bentonville, Arkansas, brother-in-law Scot Harris of Odessa, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Ramona Greene, two brothers Joe and Billy and two sisters Hollen and Charlotte.
