Davis C. "Dave" DeLoach, 88, Live Oak, FL passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 after a short illness. The Furman , SC native was a Veteran of WWII while serving in the Army and he retired from the City of Live Oak Fire Department as Assistant Chief after 23 years. He was also a member of the Barrett Masonic Lodge # 43 and the Community Presbyterian Church in Live Oak. Mr. DeLoach is survived by his wife : Hilda DeLoach, Live Oak, FL; two sons: James W. DeLoach, McAlpin, FL, Carlton D. DeLoach, Ridell, Ga ; one sister: Jackie Parrish, Savannah , GA; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 23, 2011 Community Presbyterian Church with Rev. Randy Wilding and Rev. Jim Walkup officiating. Interment will follow in the Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Daniels on Friday from 6:00-8:00 pm.
